Case study · Website + Live demos

Latebloom - AI education & creative studio

A boutique studio teaching AI-assisted creativity - writing, music, art, photo restoration, video and code - through one-to-one lessons, workshops and an eight-week course, plus made-to-order creative work. We designed and built the site, complete with live, interactive demos you can try in the browser, and run the studio end to end.

The Latebloom website - an AI education and creative studio, designed and built by Northern Rivers I.T. latebloom.site

The problem

Teaching AI is hard when all you have is slides

A studio that teaches a live, hands-on skill can't sell it with static pages alone.

Static pages can't teach a live skill

AI-assisted creativity is something you do, not something you read about. A wall of text and screenshots never quite lands the "oh, I get it now" moment.

Built for creatives, not engineers

The audience is writers, artists and musicians. Anything that feels like developer tooling loses them before the first lesson even starts.

A studio and a site to run as one

Lessons, a course, workshops and made-to-order creative work all need to sit behind one site - and someone has to keep both the studio and the site moving.

What we built

A site you can actually play with

The website teaches by letting people try, not just read.

Live, interactive AI demos

Real demos that run in the browser, so a visitor can feel what AI-assisted creativity actually does before they ever book a lesson. Show, not tell.

A site made for creatives

Designed for writers, artists and musicians, not developers - warm, visual and free of jargon, so the least technical visitor still feels at home.

The studio, run end to end

Lessons, the eight-week course, workshops and made-to-order creative work all sit behind one site, looked after by one partner - so nothing falls through the gaps.

Key decisions

Why we built it this way

The choices that turned a brochure into a place people can try things.

Show, don't tell

We led with live demos instead of descriptions, because letting someone try the thing beats any amount of copy explaining it.

Own the site and the toolchain

Building and running both the site and the demos in-house means we can change either quickly, keep them fast, and add new experiments without waiting on a third party.

Design down to the least technical visitor

Every choice was tested against the person who finds tech intimidating. If they can use it comfortably, everyone can.

The outcome

A studio people can try before they buy

A site that does the explaining, so a lesson sells itself.

The studio is live and teaching today. Student numbers are the studio's own figures and will be added here once confirmed.

Don't take our word for it - go and play with it.
